Begin with a panoramic drive through the historic city center of Santos.
The Coffee Museum is located in a former palace, built in 1922 to celebrate 100 years of Brazilian independence. The museum is called the Coffee Trade Palace, or Palacio da Bolsa do Café.
Continue to the Pele Museum. The facility opened in 2014 during the World Cup in Brazil, marking a watershed moment for Santos, where Brazil's 'King of Soccer' played for the Santos Football Club during most of his career.
The Santos Municipal Aquarium, built in 1945, includes a total of 50 tanks, covers an area of 11,000 square feet and was listed in the 1995 Guinness Book of Records as the largest aquarium in Brazil.
Return to the pier by way of Gonzaga Beach, bordered by hotels and high-rise condominiums.
