Enjoy a taste of traditional life with picturesque fishing villages, breathtaking views, a beach visit, and paella for lunch.
A panoramic drive leads to the small fishing village of Órzola on Lanzarote's northernmost tip. Here, board a motorboat for the 20-minute crossing of El Rio Strait to the tiny volcanic island of La Graciosa. Caleta de Sebo village greets you with its white houses, white-sand streets, and a pace of life reminiscent of yesteryear.
Back on the boat, refreshments await you. Travel along the coast for a view of the Archipel Chinijo protected marine reserve. Enjoy some time to relax or water activity directly from the boat in front of the "Playa Francesa" a beautiful hidden beach with amazing views to Lanzarote, named one of the best beaches of the entire Canary Islands.
Lunch includes freshly made paella and fruit, along with wine or soft drinks.
The return boat ride passes volcanic cliffs and the Punta Fariones headland en route back to Órzola. Transfer back to the pier by coach.
Notes:
The boat journey to Graciosa Island is not exclusive to Holland America Line guests.
