Enjoy a short 50-minute panoramic drive through Kodiak.
Your travels will take you down Cannery Row, past the small boat harbor, and through the heart of old downtown Kodiak. Watch for the Baranof and Alutiiq Museums, and the Russian Orthodox Church and Seminary, as you head out of town past Mission Beach. Take in the view of Woody Island; then, you'll stop at Mill Bay Beach for photos and to stretch your legs.
Follow one of the oldest roads on Kodiak back towards town, where the diversity of Kodiak's commercial center is evident. You'll pass the high-water mark from the 1964 tsunami on your way through the center of town.
From a scenic overlook, you will see a World War II pillbox bunker and take photos of your ship with the city in the background.
Notes:
Tour consists mainly of sightseeing from the transportation. Stops (if any) are brief, and participants can remain on the transportation. Participants must be able to climb a few steps unassisted to board the transportation. Tour does not operate on weekends.
