This exclusive and immersive tour invites you to a gourmet lunch at a stunning countryside retreat, to taste local food products, to sip wine, and to relax on the magical black sand beach of Muriwai.
Elle Armon-Jones, owner of The Vineyard Cottages and The Big Foody Food Tours, or one of her friendly and knowledgeable guides, will meet you at the pier. She will whisk you away to hear all about artisan producers, honey producers, cheese-mongers and more. You will sample many different local specialties -- a wonderful introduction to West Auckland’s wild world of foraging bees, handcrafted dairy products, and freshly harvested vegetables.
Once you arrive at The Vineyard Cottages, you’ll stroll through the property and enjoy a tasting of three different wines and enjoy a delicious lunch of locally sourced produce.
