On this jaw-dropping cruise through the natural geography of Tasermiut, you will craft postcard-worthy photos and form memories to last a lifetime.
Travel to the inner icecap, passing an old Norse settlement. Your skipper will pause here to explain the history of this settlement and what happened to it. At the icecap, step ashore and spend approximately 30 minutes exploring independently and taking the photos of a lifetime.
Notes:
It can be challenging to (dis)embark the boat at the icecap. Wildlife sightings are likely but not guaranteed. Tour operates in an open boat. Flotation suits are provided and must be worn (sizes S - 3XL). Wear sturdy, non-skid walking shoes. Dress warmly in layers with a windproof and waterproof outer layer; bring a warm hat, gloves and a scarf. Limited tourism infrastructure is part of the charm here, and you are trading breadth of guide experience for authentic interaction. Please bring your spirit of adventure and bear with any language difficulties your guide may encounter and with any operational surprises that may crop up. Restrooms are not available on tour.
