It's Showtime for 'Fosse and Verdon, The Duet That Changed Broadway' Aboard Holland America Line's Koningsdam

It’s curtains up for the new “Fosse and Verdon, The Duet That Changed Broadway” production aboard Holland America Line’s Koningsdam. Produced in partnership with RWS Global, the show—which was reconstructed by The Verdon Fosse Legacy^® and choreographed by Dylis Croman & Alyssa Epstein—debuted on board, showcasing the all-new live musical and multimedia tribute celebrating the revolutionary work of Bob Fosse and Gwen Verdon.

Set in the World Stage with dramatic 270-degree surround screens, the 45-minute show features musical numbers inspired by Fosse’s original choreography set against a backdrop of never-before-seen archival audio and video content. Guests are dazzled by the 12 cast members who danced to music from “Sweet Charity,” “Liza with a Z,” “Cabaret,” “Chicago” and more, backed by dynamic live vocals from the cast.

The production marks the beginning of a broader partnership between RWS Global and The Verdon Fosse Legacy^®, which has granted RWS Global exclusive rights to produce original performances inspired by the legendary duo. Holland America Line will hold exclusive cruise rights to these productions for the next five years, positioning the brand as the sole provider of Fosse and Verdon’s work at sea.

In addition to featuring Fosse on the World Stage, a selection of films will be available on Koningsdam's in-stateroom television where he was a director, choreographer or actor, including "Cabaret," "Chicago," "The Pajama Game," "Lenny," "Kiss Me, Kate," "The Little Prince" and "Star 80."

At this time, “Fosse and Verdon, The Duet That Changed Broadway” is exclusively on board Koningsdam. As The Verdon Fosse Legacy^® and RWS Global continue to collaborate, additional live entertainment offerings will be unveiled—further celebrating the timeless artistry and enduring influence of Bob Fosse and Gwen Verdon.
