Carry-on only for easy access: Keep medication in your purse or carry-on bag rather than in checked luggage
Bring enough for the full cruise: Refill prescriptions sufficiently so you have enough for the duration of the cruise
Keep medications in original containers: Transport all medication in its original container
Plan for limited onboard and port availability: Medication may not be available on board or in some ports

A written medication list (in case the item becomes lost), including the name of the medication, dosage, and when it needs to be taken
