Experience an exhilarating RIB (rigid inflatable boat) ride through magnificent Lustrafjord.
A five-minute walk brings you to Skjolden's small-boat pier. Meet your guide here and listen to a safety briefing; then, gear up in a warm suit before taking to the water.
As your RIB captain speeds through the water, you'll experience stunning scenery and views of the many small fjord farms where the people of Lustrafjord lived and worked a hundred years ago. A highlight of your ride will be a close-up view of Feigefossen Waterfall, cascading from a height of 751 feet.
There will be some short stops along the way so that your guide can provide you with information about the natural landscape and local history.
Notes:
Ride will be bumpy. Guests who are pregnant or have a back or neck condition are not allowed to participate. Minimum age is 8 years. The RIB ride lasts approximately one hour. Survival suits are provided and must be worn. Dress warmly in layers with a windproof and waterproof outer layer; bring a warm hat, gloves and a scarf. Participants must be able to swim with confidence. Lifejackets are provided and must be worn.
