According to historians, Amalfi was founded after Constantine’s death as a settlement for wealthy Roman families. It is one of the oldest maritime republics in Italy.
Cruise along the fabulously scenic Amalfi Coast to reach the world-renowned town of Amalfi. Your guide will tell you all about the history and daily life of this beautiful town, which features a stunning cathedral, winding streets, and age-old piazzas. Then, enjoy some free time in the village and the harbor area before you reboard the boat to return to Salerno.
