Transfer to Naples — a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Follow your guide to the historical center and walk along the famous Via San Gregorio Armeno, renowned for its traditional Nativity-scene workshops and crafts.
Don't miss Via Spaccanapoli — a narrow thoroughfare whose name means "splits Naples in two." It encapsulates centuries of urban life and authentic Neapolitan culture.
Within the Basilica of San Lorenzo Maggiore, take in the grandeur of one of Naples' oldest and most striking churches, exemplifying rich Gothic architecture. Descend into the Neapolis Sotterrata — the ancient, buried city beneath the basilica.
Back at street level, wander through the well-preserved remains of Naples' Greek agora and Roman marketplace, both eloquently telling the story of Naples from antiquity to the present.
Afterward, you'll have approximately 45 minutes of free time to sample local specialties (at your own expense) or shop for souvenirs in the vibrant San Gaetano Square area.
Return on foot to the designated coach parking area and return to the pier.

Wear sturdy non-skid walking shoes. This is a strenuous walking tour. Tour requires walking from the coach car park to the historical center of Naples. Not advisable for guests using a wheelchair or for those with mobility limitations. Mobility devices (wheelchairs, walkers, scooters, strollers, etc.) cannot be accommodated on the transportation. Terrain includes even and uneven surfaces, cobblestones, multiple inclines, and more than 140 steps down and up. Modest attire is required for visiting churches or cathedrals; knees, shoulders and midriffs must be covered; short shorts and short skirts are not allowed. Shade is limited; to avoid sunburn, wear light, long clothing suitable for use as a cover-up. Bring a hat and sunglasses; wear biodegradable/reef-safe sunscreen. Bring bottled water.
