Gather your friends and family and board a private yacht for a short ride on the Bosphorus Strait with a private guide. Take in the city's famous and beautiful landmarks from the water as your guide recounts Istanbul's colorful history.
Disembark the yacht and transfer to the Old Town to visit the Blue Mosque. See the Hippodrome, where ancient Byzantine entertainment spectacles such as gladiator fights and chariot races took place.
Step down into the Underground Cistern, built in the 6th century with 336 beautiful columns recycled from pagan Roman temples.
You'll stop for refreshments at an authentic Turkish teahouse; then, enjoy some time at the Grand Bazaar, followed by a demonstration of the art of carpet weaving.
Notes:
Expect dense traffic conditions in Istanbul. Modest attire is required; knees, shoulders and midriffs must be covered. Women must cover their heads with a scarf, which will be provided at the mosque. You must remove your shoes at the mosque. Shoe bags are provided. Not suitable for guests using a wheelchair. All tours in the Old Town require considerable walking, as it is closed to traffic. The covered section of the Grand Bazaar is closed on Sundays and during Ramadan; shopping at the Spice Bazaar or at stores outside the market will be substituted.
