San Sebastian, the beautiful Pearl of the Sea, is a charming Belle Epoque resort built around a crescent-shaped bay. The city was made popular in 1886 by Queen Regent Maria Cristina, but is now a relaxed, family-style resort. It also hosts the International Film Festival every September.
On a panoramic drive through the modern city, you'll see the Cathedral of the Good Shepherd and the Town Hall, the Palace and Gardens of Miramar, the theatre and the luxury hotel named after the Queen.
