Experience some of Kauai's most scenic landscapes and cultural highlights on this full-day adventure by coach and riverboat.
Begin with a stop at Hanapepe Lookout, offering beautiful views of Kauai's southern coastline. Continue to Kauai Coffee, Hawaii's largest coffee plantation, where you'll learn about local coffee production and enjoy complimentary samples.
Next, travel inland to Waimea Canyon, often called the "Grand Canyon of the Pacific." Enjoy a scenic drive along the canyon rim with several opportunities to stop for photos of the dramatic red cliffs, deep valleys, and sweeping vistas.
Descend into historic Waimea Town, where you'll have free time to browse local shops, visit cafés, or sample a refreshing Hawaiian shave ice. Then head to Poipu for a relaxing lunch at Keoki's Paradise, a popular island restaurant.
After lunch, travel to the east side of the island for a photo stop at Opaeka'a Falls, one of Kauai's most picturesque waterfalls. Continue to the nearby Wailua Marina and board a riverboat for a leisurely cruise along the scenic Wailua River. Hawaiian musicians and dancers provide entertainment during the journey to the famous Fern Grotto, a lava-rock cavern draped in tropical ferns. Enjoy a live performance of the beloved Hawaiian Wedding Song before returning by boat.
Please note:
There is uneven terrain and gravel pathways, this tour is not meant for guests with mobility issues. Guests must be able to independently step in and off the boat. No wheelchairs can be stored on vessel. Wear comfortable clothing and shoes, sunglasses, sun protectant and a hat.
