The impressive John F. Kennedy Library & Museum, with its sheer white concrete-and-glass architecture, is located on Columbia Point in the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston.
Upon arrival at the museum, take a seat in the theater to watch a short introductory film, parts of which are narrated by JFK himself. Incorporating historic television footage and cherished family home movies, this film covers the background, family and political accomplishments of the Camelot legend. Take some free time to independently explore the museum, which features an extensive range of audio-visual displays.
A panoramic drive through Boston takes you past Copley Square, bordered by the architectural wonders of Trinity Church and the Boston Public Library.
In the heart of the city lies one of Boston's most elegant and wealthy neighborhoods -- Beacon Hill. Traffic permitting, you'll pass several landmarks along the Freedom Trail, including the gold dome of the Massachusetts State House, Quincy Market, Faneuil Hall, and the Old South Meeting House where the Sons of Liberty plotted the Boston Tea Party.
Notes:
