Enjoy a panoramic drive through historic Fremantle, passing the Western Australian Maritime Museum, home to some of the state's most iconic vessels, as well as Fremantle Prison and the Round House. The latter is Western Australia's oldest building and was purpose-built as a jail, making it the first permanent building in the colony. Continue along the Esplanade to admire the suburb's interesting colonial architecture.
In Perth, travel through the exclusive riverside suburbs of Mosman Park, Peppermint Grove and Dalkeith, passing landmarks including the Royal Perth Yacht Club, Matilda Bay and the Old Swan Brewery.
Stop for photography and free time at the delightful Kings Park. Covering almost 1,000 acres of bushland, botanical gardens and parklands, it offers spectacular views over the Perth CBD and Swan River. Take a leisurely stroll through the gardens of unique native plants, visit the State War Memorial, or simply relax and enjoy the breathtaking scenery.
Continue to the scenic coastal suburb of Cottesloe, where the beautifully landscaped lawns and sandy beach offer sweeping views of the Indian Ocean. Stop briefly for photos before returning to Fremantle.
