Enjoy a stunning nighttime view from the tallest skyscraper in Japan — Abeno Harukas. The observatory occupies the 58th-60th floors. It offers panoramic 360-degree views of the dynamic city of Osaka, as well as far-off views of the surrounding region, from the ancient capital of Kyoto to Kobe and the Rokko Mountains.
Next, take a panoramic drive through Osaka North's downtown area called Umeda — a business and shopping area around Osaka Station. The south side of Osaka City, called Namba or Minami, is a shopping and entertainment district.
After enjoying a scenic drive, transfer back to the ship.
You can hop off the motorcoach in the Dotombori area if you wish — the best place for strolling, sampling, local food, and bar-hopping. Guests wishing to stay in town to shop or explore independently are welcome to do so, but must make their own way back to the ship.
Notes:
Unfamiliar accents can be challenging; feel free to ask your guide to repeat or elaborate on information, and to speak more slowly so you can fully comprehend and converse. Tour requires very little walking; however, participants must be able to climb a few steps unassisted to board the transportation. Tour sequence may vary.
