This brief tour offers an introduction to the town's history, the Front Street commercial area, and the finish line of the world-famous Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race.
After a general orientation to the town, check out the local gift shops for fun and uniquely Alaskan souvenirs.
Your tour ends in town, leaving you free to browse in the shops, visit the museum, or step inside the Beringia National Park Headquarters.
Wander back to the harbor on foot (approximately ¾ mile).
