Equipped with binoculars and a pair of sturdy walking shoes, you’ll come as close as possible on this outingto being the Indiana Jones of the East. This expedition is designed to please the senses as you cruise and explore an ecosystem of winding rivers, mangrove forests, isolated islands and limestone rock formations. Visit the fabled Bat Cave to see thesenocturnal mammals enjoying their daytime siesta. Hundreds of themhang upside down, clingingto the ceiling of the cave. The formations of stalagmites and stalactites and other rock formations are quite stunning as well. Leaving the cave, you’ll next have a chance to snap some close-up shots of eagles as they zoom down with accuracy to vie for food. Next, visit a fish farm, to learn about aquaculture. You’ll walk on platforms that separate the nets in the sea to see the variety of fish that are raised here.
Notes:
This is an adventure tour. Terrain includes stairs, uneven paths and pontoons. Not suitable for guests who require the use of a wheelchair or have limited mobilty. Guests must be able to get on and off boat unassisted. Wear comfortable walking shoes. Shade is limited; to avoid sunburn, wear light, long clothing suitable for use as a cover-up. Bring a hat and sunglasses; wear biodegradable/reef-safe sunscreen. Please bring an umbrella or raincoat, in case of wet weather. Bring bottled water. Bring a flashlight and binoculars. Wildlife sightings are likely but are not guaranteed.
