This excursion combines the highlights of a city tour, introducing you to the life and beauty of Phuket Island, with a picturesque ocean drive.
Your tour begins with a short drive to Promthep Cape — a hill covered in date palms and bright yellow grasses. The sea below breaks onto a rocky shore, and you will enjoy spectacular views over Phuket's coastline.
Continue to the island's most famous temple — Wat Chalong — dedicated to two revered monks.
Stop for lunch at a hotel in Phuket Town.
Visit Phuket Town, the main shopping center and city on Phuket Island. Portuguese influence is evident in some of the city's architecture — a legacy of the tin barons.
Finally, visit Jui Tui Shrine, a traditional Chinese temple that plays a pivotal part in the annual Phuket Vegetarian Festival. One of the island's oldest and most respected spiritual centers, it's a must-see for newcomers to Phuket.
Reboard your coach for the short return journey to the ship.
