Let this 1½-hour panoramic drive introduce you to the charming countryside of Vietnam.
Your destination is Yen Duc village, chosen for its quintessential nature and the experience of visiting an authentic village.
You will notice a special tranquility within Yen Duc. Visit an ancient house, more than 200 years old, and communicate with the host/owner. Walk through the fields and green gardens to visit Canh Huong Pagoda and take in the poetic views that are the stuff of postcards.
Enjoy local snacks such as boiled corn and sweet mung bean or sweet green bean soup. Then, participate in the experience of grinding and pounding rice and learn about rice agriculture.
Listen to a concert of traditional folk songs presented by village elders and savor a delicious lunch of simple Vietnamese dishes before transferring back to the ship.
