What childcare & youth programs are available?
Holland America Line offers Kids Club, a supervised youth program for guests ages 3 to 17, with daily schedules available in the Holland America Line Navigator® app once you are on board.
Who it’s for
Kids Club is designed for three age groups:
Kids ages 3 to 6
Tweens ages 7 to 11
Teens ages 12 to 17
This helps ensure that everyone lands in programming that fits their stage and energy, and that they get to mingle with potential new friends who are closer to their own ages.

Your most reliable source is the Holland America Line Navigator® app, which surfaces the activity schedule once you are on board, including options by age group.
Port day hours
On port days, Kids Club activities are typically offered from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., with lunch not included as part of the program. Hours may shift to better serve guests.
Sign-in, sign-out, and supervision guidelines
Children ages 3 to 12 must be registered for Kids Club, and a parent or guardian signs them into and out of the program each time they attend. This process helps ensure a secure, well-organized environment
Teen programming (ages 12 to 17) is structured to support growing independence and does not follow the same sign-in and sign-out procedures. Teens may come and go from their designated youth spaces during scheduled activity hours while remaining part of supervised, age-appropriate programming
Adult presence is not permitted inside Kids Club spaces during programming hours unless a parent or guardian is assisting a child with special needs, allowing counselors to focus fully on the group experience
Eligibility
Kids Club participation begins at age three, with no exceptions
Children in the program must be completely toilet trained and pull-up free (counselors cannot assist in the washroom)
When programming may not be offered
Kids Club is not offered on cruises of 25 days or longer, including Legendary and Grand Voyages, although a selection of children’s activities may still be available on those sailings.
