Your journey begins in Port of Castro and heads north along a rural road. Keep an eye out for some of the typical houses of the island.
Listen to a short safety briefing, then pick a horse and begin your ride along the paths on the countryside, beaches, and fields. Here, you will see farmland surrounded by an evergreen forest.
A light snack will be served by the riverside.
Notes:
Although only a few horse flies live near this area; wear light-colored clothing to avoid attracting them. Bring insect repellent. Minimum age is 12 years. Maximum weight is 190 lbs. Participants must be in good physical condition. Not advisable for those with back problems. Please keep in mind that the remoteness of the port/ limited tourism infrastructure here is part of the city's charm, and bear with any language difficulties your guide may encounter.
