This exploration by a RIB (rigid inflatable) boat offers an unrivaled perspective from the water.
You'll skim across the still water of Trondheim Fjord, the third-longest fjord in Norway. Fill your lungs with pure air among glorious scenery where emerald hillsides rise from the coastline. Keep your eyes peeled for marine life, too.
Learn about Munkholmen (Monk's Island) as you pause for a close look at this tiny islet, which was once the site of public Viking executions.
Cruising into the city canal, you'll enter the heart of Trondheim and buzz through the Old Town. Admire the unusual 17th-century bridge and head out to the artificial island of Brattøra before rounding off your experience by skirting around the ship.
Notes:
The RIB ride lasts approximately one hour. Survival suits are provided and must be worn. Participants must be able to swim. Dress warmly in layers with a windproof and waterproof outer layer; bring a warm hat, gloves and a scarf. Guests who are pregnant or have a back or neck condition are not allowed to participate. Minimum age is 8 years. All sightseeing is conducted from the RIB; you will not step ashore.
