Ascend by road to the Upper Rock to admire St Michael's Cave, where a technology-led installation creates an immersive experience inside the natural attraction. The Awakening highlights the history of the famous cave, explaining how the geological formation came to be through 360° light projection combined with immersive spatial audio.
A minibus will take you to the Apes' Den — home of Barbary apes. These cheeky monkeys will take anything they can get their hands on, so keep your possessions close!
A five-minute drive north brings you to the entrance to the Upper Galleries — the Great Siege Tunnels. You will enter this system of tunnels carved out of solid limestone, commenced in 1782 by the forerunners of the Royal Engineers. Today, they stand as a monument to ingenuity and engineering.
Drive past the Moorish Castle to enter the heart of the city.
