Enjoy a taste of traditional life with picturesque fishing villages, breathtaking views, a beach visit, and paella for lunch.
A panoramic drive leads to the small fishing village of Órzola on Lanzarote's northernmost tip. Here, board a motorboat for the 20-minute crossing of El Rio Strait to the tiny volcanic island of La Graciosa. Caleta de Sebo village greets you with its white houses, white-sand streets, and a pace of life reminiscent of yesteryear.
Back on the boat, refreshments await you. Travel along the coast for a view of the Archipel Chinijo protected marine reserve. Francesa Beach — one of the best in the Canary Islands — offers downtime to relax on the golden sand or swim in the sea.
Lunch includes freshly made paella and fruit, along with wine or soft drinks.
The return boat ride passes volcanic cliffs and the Punta Fariones headland en route back to Órzola. Transfer back to the pier by coach.

The boat journey to Graciosa Island is not exclusive to Holland America Line guests. Wear your swimsuit under your clothing; bring a towel, reef-safe/biodegradable sunscreen, light clothing to act as a full cover-up for further protection from the sun, and a hat. Swim at your own risk. Drinking alcoholic beverages is not allowed prior to swimming. Tour includes a RIB transfer from the boat to the beach at La Francesa. Wear comfortable walking shoes; bring aqua shoes.
