Connect with the heart and soul of a vibrant community. Whether you're meeting friendly locals, encountering heirloom cultures, engaging with Native peoples, exploring hidden corners, or discovering beloved eateries, let lasting memories begin with warmth, hospitality, and genuine connection.
Explore the heart of Tauranga as you step into a world of cultural riches and natural beauty.
Enjoy a guided hikoi past ancient pohutukawa trees and through local reserves, while gaining insight into the history and cultural significance of the area. The experience continues along Marine Parade’s coastal pathway, offering sweeping ocean views, before a relaxed stop for water, light snacks, and a hands-on workshop that allows you to engage more deeply with Maori culture.
