Travel across the southern coast of Miyako to Kurima, with a population of less than 200, its quiet and laid-back vibe is on display in the charming village.
As you make your way across to the Kurima Bridge, you’ll no doubt admire the island’s spectacular natural scenery. Look out below when you cross the bridge—the waters are home to sea turtles.
Once on the island, you’ll be enchanted by the lush green sugarcane. Enjoy some free time in the village to browse the local art and craft shops.
Purchases made, travel back to Miyako and Maehama Beach, a stunning stretch of soft white sand, where you will have some free time to stroll along the water’s edge.
En route to your ship, you’ll stop at a local souvenir shop for some free time to find that perfect memento of your visit.
