Take an exciting, personal, and private trip into the wilds of Alaska on a fantastic, covered ATV while your experienced guide drives you through the backcountry of Alaska—the ultimate backcountry exploration tour awaits! Experience an amazing adventure back in the wilderness, hunting Alaskan treasure. Feel exhilarated while working together to find hidden views, secret sights, quartz and granite rocks, coal, and much more! Pick out a treasure to take home! This experience takes you back on old coal mining trails and spills you out onto the Dry Creek River Bed where Athabascan Indian artifacts have been found in archaeological digs! You will be navigating the trails, getting you closer to finding a rustic pavilion where a full-service, family-style meal is served to satisfy any adventurer’s appetite!
For the 8:00 departure, a hearty breakfast of homemade biscuits and gravy, pancakes, scrambled eggs, a variety of breakfast meats, a fresh fruit plate, and berry cobbler is served. Enjoy coffee, tea, juice, or even a mimosa!
Lunch and dinner typically consist of house-made fresh sides such as coleslaw, potato salad, fresh corn muffins, and pasta salad. The delicious entrées include vegan chili, roasted chicken, fall-off-the-bone BBQ ribs, and grilled Alaskan salmon, all followed by berry cobbler for dessert. Choose from a variety of beverages including coffee, tea, hot chocolate, juice, or wine.
Special notes: Dress in warm layers. Bring a camera. Ride will be slightly bumpy. The ATV can accommodate up to five passengers in addition to your driver-guide. Time on treasure hunt is approximately 1½ hours.
