Embark on an exhilarating kayaking journey through the stunning natural beauty of Alter do Chão. Your adventure begins with a mandatory safety briefing to ensure everyone is well-prepared.
Once briefed, you'll pair up in double kayaks and set off across the calm, scenic waters of Lago Verde, surrounded by the lush Amazon rainforest. Accompanied by two experienced guides—one leading the way and the other ensuring the group stays together—you'll paddle for approximately 1 to 1½ hours, depending on the river current.
Your destination is the Enchanted Forest, a magical flooded woodland teeming with biodiversity and natural wonder. Upon arrival, you'll take a short break at the Caranazal restaurant to rest and refresh.
The return journey is by motorboat, offering a relaxing ride back to the pier. A bottle of mineral water will be provided at the start of the tour.
Important note:
This is a very strenuous activity, recommended only for guests in excellent physical condition who are comfortable with extended periods of paddling. Minimum age is 12 years. To ensure safety, Guests must possess an understanding in how to kayak and have recent experience or feel confident paddling a kayak. You need to be in excellent physical condition to participate in this tour. The duration of the tour will vary, depending on the current of the river. Maximum age limit of this tour is 50 years. You will need to sign a waiver if you would like to participate in this tour. It is advisable to apply sunscreen for protection against harmful UV radiations. You will get wet on this excursion, any electronic devices (such as smart phones, air pods, cameras, etc.), as well as any valuable items be stored in a sealable, waterproof dry bag or left on board the ship. Any damage occurring to these items are the responsibility of the guests
