This hop-on, hop-off bus circuit offers a great introduction to marvelous Mazatlán.
The open-topped double-decker bus runs approximately every 30 minutes, so you can spend as much time as you like at each of its four designated stops, reboarding the bus whenever it suits you.
The first stop is where you'll find the fearless cliff divers, who leap from a 50-foot-high platform into just a few feet of water, timing their jumps perfectly to synchronize with the incoming waves.
The second stop is in Mazatlán's Historic District. Stroll through cobblestone streets and take in the restored 19th-century architecture, sidewalk cafés, the beautifully restored Angela Peralta Theatre, Machado Plaza, the double-spired cathedral, and stately City Hall.
The third stop is at the City Aquarium; you can purchase a day pass (at your own expense) to enjoy various shows and educational exhibits. The newest exhibit features penguins. This stop will also allow you to walk along the longest seafront boulevard in North America.
The fourth stop is in the Golden Zone. You will find beaches, shops and hotels, waterfront restaurants and nightclubs here.
When you are ready, reboard the bus for the short ride back to port.
Notes:
Your ticket is good for all day. The complete circuit takes 1,5 hours. Buses come every 30 minutes. No admission fees are included.
