Transfer to Pearl Harbor and the USS Missouri. Upon arrival, either take the self-guided Pearl Harbor tour first or proceed directly to USS Missouri. Tickets to the USS Missouri are included in this program.
Pearl Harbor (self-guided):
Explore the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center on your own, including two world-class museums that tell the story of Pearl Harbor and America before, during, and after the attack. The Road to War exhibit gallery features artifacts, historic newsreel footage and photos of American life before the war.
The Attack gallery showcases film and oral histories, artifacts and photos depicting how the United States was propelled into war. These galleries display personal memorabilia, dramatic photographs, and relics from the battle. View the interpretive exhibits along the shoreline. By superimposing descriptive images of Pearl Harbor as it was in 1941 over the bustling port as it appears today, these exhibits bridge the past and the present.
Battleship Missouri:
Take the Pearl Harbor shuttle to Ford Island. The 887-foot-long USS Missouri (Mighty Mo) battleship is a living museum that offers a glimpse into the past and the experience of being aboard a ship alive with history and modern technology. On a tour of the vessel, examine the exhibits, memorabilia, and activities that give you a sense of what life at sea was like aboard the world's last and most celebrated battleship. Discover the gripping details of the kamikaze attack on the USS Missouri; stand in the shadow of the 16-inch guns that played a pivotal role at Inchon and Chosin Reservoir during the Korean War; see where 28 Tomahawk missiles were launched during the Gulf War and stand on the Signature Deck, where General Douglas MacArthur stood when Japanese officials signed and presented him with the Articles of Surrender that ended World War II. Join a guided tour or navigate the ship on your own. Take the shuttle back to the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center.
Next, relax on a guided panoramic drive through metropolitan Honolulu. Highlights include a view of Iolani Palace, the only royal palace on American soil. See Kawaiahao Church — a historic landmark with captivating architecture. The King Kamehameha Statue pays homage to the legendary Hawaiian king who united these beautiful islands. Watch for the Hawaii State Capitol, the Governor's Mansion, and quaint missionary homes.
The tour ends with a drive through the famous Punchbowl Crater en route back to the ship.

Tour is self-guided at Pearl Harbor. Tour does not operate on holidays. Bring state-issued photo ID. Wear comfortable walking shoes.

• Bags, packages, or containers that offer concealment, such as purses, handbags, backpacks, fanny packs, camera bags, diaper bags, luggage, etc., greater than 1.25" x 2.25" x 5.5"
• Glass containers other than baby food jars and tempered glass water bottles
• Musical instruments and cases not related to a permit
• Flowers in pots, vases, or containers
• Aerosol containers
• Knives and other weapons, including pocket knives and multitools
• Alcoholic beverages
• Flags, signs, or banners on posts or poles not related to a permit
• Wreaths on stands not related to a permit
Items ALLOWED at the monument:
• Clutches (strap or no strap) and wallets measuring 1.25" x 2.25" x 5.5" or less in total dimensions
• Clear plastic bags, such as those allowed at football games, whose contents are readily visible
• Small canvas and recycled material type (thick plastic) shopping bags purchased in the secure zone. Use is allowed on the day of purchase only, and will not be allowed re-entry once they exit the secure zone
• Fixed bag on a wheelchair (no ability to remove)
• Bags containing medical equipment unsuitable for lightweight, plastic, transparent shopping bags
• Stroller with a fixed pouch (no ability to remove)
• Musical instruments and cases related to an NPS-issued Special Use Permit or similar partner document
• Food and water that is not concealed in a package
• Firearms possessed by commissioned law enforcement officers under LEOSA (must be declared to a law enforcement ranger)
