IMPORTANT NOTE: Guests participating in this tour must arrange their return travel from O.R. Tambo International Airport (Johannesburg, South Africa). Return flights should be scheduled for Friday, March 26, 2027. Please note that hotel check-out time is 11:00 AM. You will be assisted with the walk to the Johannesburg Airport terminal according to your flight schedule. Guests with later departures may store their luggage at the hotel after check-out. Alternatively, guests who prefer additional comfort and flexibility may arrange an extra night directly with the hotel at their own expense. Guests should verify that all essential items, medications, travel documents, and valuables remain with them throughout the program.
DAY 1:
After disembarking your ship in Cape Town, you will be met by a local guide and begin a scenic full-day journey along the spectacular Cape Peninsula before arriving at your overnight hotel.
Travel south through some of the Cape's most beautiful coastal scenery to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, a protected area covering more than 19,000 acres of indigenous vegetation and wildlife. Your visit includes time at Cape Point, where dramatic cliffs rise above the ocean and offer some of the most breathtaking views in South Africa. Weather permitting and if operational, you will ride the funicular to the summit, where panoramic views provide outstanding photo opportunities.
Continue to Boulders Beach, home to a famous colony of endangered African penguins. Stroll the designated walkways and observe these charming birds in their natural habitat. Your drive then takes you through the historic naval town of Simon's Town, along the False Bay coastline, passing the seaside communities of Fish Hoek, Kalk Bay, and Muizenberg. Along the way, enjoy spectacular coastal vistas and glimpses of local life.
Before arriving at your hotel, stop at Groot Constantia, South Africa's oldest wine estate. Here you will have free time to enjoy lunch at one of the estate's restaurants or participate in a wine tasting, both at your own expense.
In the afternoon, arrive at The Claremont Boutique Hotel, located in the peaceful suburb of Claremont. Surrounded by beautiful gardens and mountain views, this elegant boutique hotel provides a comfortable base for your stay in Cape Town. After check-in, the remainder of the day and evening are yours to enjoy at leisure. You may wish to relax at the hotel, explore the surrounding neighborhood, or dine independently at one of Cape Town's many restaurants.
HOTEL: The Claremont Boutique Hotel
DAY 2: (B, L, D)
After breakfast at the hotel, check out and prepare for the next stage of your South African adventure. You will meet your local representative in the hotel lobby and transfer to Cape Town International Airport for your flight to Hoedspruit Airport, gateway to the Greater Kruger region.
Important: Due to airline luggage restrictions, guests may check only one suitcase per person on the flight to Hoedspruit. One additional piece of luggage per person will be transported separately by courier and delivered to your hotel in Johannesburg, where you will be reunited with it on Day 4. Guests are advised to pack any medications, valuables, cruise documents, and items needed for the next two nights in their hand luggage or checked bag traveling with them to Hoedspruit.
Upon arrival in Hoedspruit, you will be met by a lodge representative and transferred through the scenic Lowveld region to Sandringham Private Game Reserve, located within the Greater Kruger area. The drive takes approximately 75 minutes and offers your first glimpse of South Africa's spectacular bushveld landscape.
Nestled in nearly 5,000 hectares of wilderness overlooking the Timbavati River, N'weti Camp provides an intimate luxury safari experience. Upon arrival, enjoy a welcome drink and complete check-in formalities before sitting down to lunch at the lodge. You will then have time to settle into your suite, relax, and take in the sights and sounds of the African bush.
Later in the afternoon, tea and refreshments are served before you depart on your first open-vehicle safari game drive. Accompanied by experienced guides, venture into the reserve in search of wildlife. As the sun begins to set, the landscape transforms into a golden African wilderness, creating exceptional wildlife viewing and photographic opportunities.
Following your game drive, return to camp to freshen up before enjoying dinner in the main lodge or traditional outdoor boma (weather permitting). Spend the evening under a canopy of stars before retiring for the night.
HOTEL: Sandringham Private Game Reserve – N'weti Camp
DAY 3: (B, L, D)
Experience a full day in the African bush as you enjoy the sights, sounds, and wildlife of the Greater Kruger region.
Your day begins before sunrise with a wake-up call, followed by tea, coffee, and light refreshments. As dawn breaks, board an open safari vehicle for an exciting morning game drive, when wildlife is typically at its most active. Accompanied by experienced safari guides, venture through the reserve in search of wildlife and, if fortunate, some of Africa's most iconic predators. The cool morning temperatures and soft light also provide excellent photography opportunities.
Following your safari, return to the lodge for a leisurely breakfast while taking in views of the surrounding wilderness. The remainder of the morning is yours to enjoy at your own pace. Relax by the swimming pool, unwind on your private deck, or simply watch wildlife that may wander near the lodge.
A delicious lunch is served at the lodge before another opportunity to relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the reserve. Whether you choose to rest in your suite, read a book, or simply listen to the sounds of the African bush, this free time allows you to fully appreciate the unique safari setting.
In the late afternoon, gather for tea and refreshments before setting out on your second safari adventure of the day. Your afternoon game drive offers another opportunity to encounter wildlife as animals emerge during the cooler hours of the evening. During the drive, enjoy a traditional safari "sundowner" stop in the bush, where you can admire the spectacular African sunset while enjoying refreshments.
After sunset, return to the lodge to freshen up before dinner. Share stories of the day's wildlife sightings over a delicious meal and enjoy another memorable evening in the heart of the African wilderness.

DAY 4 (B,L)
Depending on your flight schedule, you may have the opportunity to enjoy one final morning safari experience before departing the Greater Kruger region. After an early breakfast and check-out, transfer from the lodge to Hoedspruit Airport, a journey of approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. A packed lunch will be provided for your travels.
Board your flight from Hoedspruit to Johannesburg's O.R. Tambo International Airport, where a light meal will be served onboard.
Upon arrival in Johannesburg, you will be met by a local representative in the arrivals hall and assisted on a short walk of approximately 300 yards (900 feet) to your overnight airport hotel, the InterContinental O.R. Tambo Hotel or similar.
At the hotel, you will be reunited with any excess luggage that was couriered from Cape Town at the beginning of your safari experience. After check-in, the remainder of the day and evening are yours to enjoy at leisure.
Please note that standard hotel check-in time is 2:00 PM. An early check-in request will be submitted on your behalf; however, this cannot be guaranteed. If your room is not yet available, luggage storage will be provided by the hotel concierge.
This evening is free for you to relax or explore dining options at your own pace. Your tour escort or the hotel concierge will be happy to recommend nearby restaurants. Dinner is at your own expense.
