Discover the authentic Gambia on this off the beaten track adventure to Sanyang, a coastal village known for its beautiful beaches, rich culture, and picturesque landscapes. Your journey includes a visit to the Tanji Nature Trail, where you’ll explore different aspects of Gambian culture and may encounter monkeys and colorful birdlife during unscheduled nature stops.
Throughout the day, you’ll visit local villages and experience the warm hospitality of the “Smiling Coast.” When possible, the tour includes a stop to meet a palm wine tapper and a visit to a village school.
Enjoy a barbecue lunch on one of Sanyang’s unspoiled beaches, with time to swim and relax. On the return drive, you’ll travel close to the shoreline and pass a traditional fishing village, offering a final glimpse into everyday coastal life.
This tour offers a unique opportunity to explore hidden corners of The Gambia and experience a way of life far removed from the usual tourist path.
