Enjoy a panoramic sightseeing drive through one of the great cities of the world -- the capital city of the United Kingdom. This excursion offers an overview of London – a thriving, dramatic city that welcomes you with its red buses and great churches, imposing statues and elegant pubs.
Watch for London’s most important royal and government monuments, such as Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, St Paul’s Cathedral, the Houses of Parliament and London Bridge.
Enjoy free time in Central London for shopping and to purchase lunch (at your own expense).
This afternoon, you’ll visit the Tower of London, one of the most famous fortified buildings in the world. Begun in 1078 by William the Conqueror, the Tower has been a palace, prison, treasury, arsenal and even a zoo. Today, it houses the priceless Crown Jewels. Also on view are the Medieval Palace, the infamous Bloody Tower, and more than 90 inscriptions made by prisoners in the Beauchamp Tower.
