A scenic drive brings you to Delft. Upon arrival in this delightful 17th-century city, take a guided walking tour through the narrow streets and alleyways that lend Delft its unique charm.
Although most famous for its porcelain, Delft is also the birthplace of world-renowned painter Johannes Vermeer and the site of William of Orange's assassination. Afterward, enjoy some free time to explore the quaint cobblestone streets lining the canals.
Visit De Porceleyne Fles (the Royal Delft Factory) — the Netherlands' most famous Delft pottery factory. While others have turned to mass production, the Delft Factory painstakingly creates its famed earthenware using the same methods since its founding in 1653. Discover the beautiful pieces on a guided tour of the factory and watch artists demonstrate the hand-painting that makes each piece of Delft a work of art.
