As you soar above the lunar-like Reykjanes Peninsula, you'll truly appreciate its grandeur on a scale that is possible only from air. You will see virtually endless volcanic craters, the Seltún geothermal area, rugged coastline, the Blue Lagoon, Lake Kleifarvatn, Lake Grænavatn, and a volcanic area that has been erupting every few months since 2021.
Notes:
Your flight departs from Reykjavík's domestic airport, located in the heart of the city. Participants must be able to walk unassisted up 5-10 steps into the aircraft. Boarding the helicopter may present difficulties for guests with mobility limitations. Dress warmly in layers with a windproof and waterproof outer layer. Wear sturdy, non-skid shoes. Guests weighing 265 lbs (120 kg) or more will be required to pay an additional surcharge over the published fare (subject to extra seats being available).
