This transfer may suit you if you would like to explore on your own. It consists of a motorcoach ride from the ship to Rome. You will be dropped off at St Peter's Square, where you will have approximately 6 hours to shop and explore independently in the Vatican and Rome. A city map is provided, and public transportation in Rome is readily available.

An English-speaking escort will be aboard the transfer motorcoach to answer questions en route. Bring local currency or credit cards, as most vendors do not accept US dollars.
