A ferry ride to the island of Capri allows you to explore Capri Town and Anacapri.
On the southern edge of the Gulf of Naples lies the island of Capri, often called the Island of Dreams. Roman emperors Augustus and Tiberius found peace and beauty here, as have the many celebrities who have visited the island. When you see Capri's impressive cliffs and brightly colored villas, you will understand the island's universal appeal. Enjoy a guided tour of Capri and Anacapri, you will also have free time to explore, browse or shop.
A delicious, traditional Italian lunch is served there. Capri is a popular destination for artists and the wealthy. You will have some free time to explore, browse or shop before cruising back to Naples.
Notes:
Tour requires a significant amount of walking. Wear comfortable walking shoes. Bring a hat and wear sunscreen. Expect crowding at some locations, including the minibus station and funicular; and limited air condition. Use of an audio headset (included) will enhance your tour experience. Depending on the ship's docking location, the boat transfer to Capri might be by jetfoil or fast ferry. Not advisable for guests using a wheelchair or for those with mobility limitations. Exact tour duration depends on the ferry/hydrofoil schedule. The transportation used is public transportation, not exclusive to Holland America Line Guests. The unstructured nature of the tour allows our guests to make the most of their time on the island at their leisure.
