Ride by coach to Valletta — the present-day capital. You'll walk to St John's Co-Cathedral and the Grand Master's Palace to view these beautiful buildings from the outside.
Use your free time in the capital to visit the cathedral or Casa Rocca Piccola, or for exploring the nooks and crannies of Valletta. Walk past the Auberge de Castille – today, the office of the Prime Minister.
The Barrakka Gardens, perched high above the Grand Harbor, provide a shady retreat from the city's bustle. The balcony offers one of the finest views in Malta.
