Your full-day tour begins with an independent exploration of Florence's wonders. Travel by motorcoach on a 90-minute panoramic drive to one of Italy's most culturally significant cities and the seat of the Renaissance. Here in Florence, you will enjoy three hours of sightseeing on your own and at your own pace. Take in all the key sights or simply sit at a corner café with a cappuccino (at your own expense) and watch the locals go about their day.
Ambitious walkers will have time to see some historic sights — the cathedral, the Piazza Della Signoria, the famous Ponte Vecchio bridge, and Piazza Santa Croce — final resting place of Galileo, Machiavelli and Michelangelo.
At the designated time, hop into a vintage Fiat 500 and celebrate la dolce vita. You'll set off caravan-style as your driver maneuvers along hidden roads lined with medieval castles, olive groves and vineyards. This is a two-hour drive through the Etruscan countryside in true Italian style.
Your return to Florence via an alternative route provides an equally entertaining journey filled with new sights and pleasant panoramas.
