DAY 1: (L, D)
After your ship arrives in Port Louis, Mauritius, you will disembark and be greeted by your local English-speaking guide. They will accompany you on a private transfer to a beautiful Mauritius hotel, where you will enjoy a relaxing one-night stay.
Mauritius is famous for its turquoise lagoons, white-sand beaches, and peaceful island atmosphere. During your stay, you can unwind by the hotel pool, stroll to a nearby beach, or simply enjoy the tropical surroundings. Your stay includes lunch, dinner, breakfast, and a selected drinks package. If you wish to explore the island further, the hotel’s concierge team will be happy to assist with recommendations and arrangements.

DAY 2: (B, L, D)
Begin your morning with an early breakfast at the hotel. After gathering your belongings, you will complete check-out formalities and meet your guide in the hotel lobby by 6:30am. Your guide will accompany you on your transfer to the airport. Upon arrival, your guide will walk with you to the check-in counters. You will then proceed through check-in, security, immigration, and customs before boarding your Air Mauritius flight to Johannesburg.
When you land at OR Tambo International Airport, you will first clear Immigration. You will then collect your luggage and pass-through Customs. As you exit the arrivals hall, your guide will be waiting with a sign to welcome you and escort you to your transportation.
Before heading to your hotel, you will enjoy lunch in Soweto, one of South Africa’s most historically and culturally significant townships. Lunch will be served at Sakhumzi Restaurant, a lively venue known for its authentic township flavors. After lunch, your guide will take you on a township tour where you will visit the former home of President Nelson Mandela, now a museum. During the tour, you will also see a variety of local living conditions, ranging from informal settlements to upscale homes, as well as the historic single-gender hostels that played a role in South Africa’s past. This experience offers a meaningful introduction to the community and its history.
Following your tour, you will drive to the elegant 54 On Bath Hotel in the Rosebank district, where you will spend the night. This boutique hotel offers refined comfort, beautiful garden views, and a peaceful atmosphere.
Upon arrival at the hotel, you will complete check-in formalities and be shown to your room. The remainder of the afternoon is yours to enjoy at leisure. In the evening, dinner will be served at Level Four Restaurant, the hotel’s signature dining venue known for its refined cuisine and elegant atmosphere.

DAY 3: (B, L, D)
Begin your morning with a leisurely breakfast at the hotel. Once you have finished dining, gather your belongings and complete the check-out formalities by 9am. Your guide will meet you in the hotel lobby and accompany you on your transfer to OR Tambo Airport.
Upon arrival at the airport, you will proceed to check in for your international flight to Kasane Airport in Botswana. After boarding, relax and enjoy the journey as you fly from Johannesburg to the gateway of Chobe National Park.
When you land at Kasane Airport, you will clear Immigration, collect your luggage, and pass-through Customs. As you exit the arrivals hall, a representative from your lodge will be waiting to welcome you. From the airport, it is only a short drive to Chobe Game Lodge.
Chobe Game Lodge is the only permanent lodge located inside the renowned Chobe National Park, positioned directly along the Chobe River. The lodge features forty-four rooms and can accommodate up to ninety-four guests. Your stay includes all meals, scheduled safari activities, local beverages including alcoholic drinks (excluding premium brands), park entrance fees, and a complimentary minibar in your room. The property offers an eco-friendly elevated river boardwalk with several viewing decks ideal for sundowners or private dining. During your stay, you may choose two safari activities per day, selecting between a Chobe River Safari or a traditional game drive.
Upon arrival at the lodge, you will complete check-in formalities and be given a brief orientation of the main areas before being shown to your room. After settling in, enjoy a relaxing afternoon tea before departing on your afternoon safari activity.
Following your safari, you will return to the lodge to freshen up before meeting again for dinner. The lodge offers several dining locations, each providing a memorable setting for your evening meal. After dinner, retire to your room and enjoy a peaceful overnight stay within the heart of Chobe National Park.

DAY 4: (B, L, D)
Your day begins with an early morning wake-up call at 5:30am, where hot and cold beverages will be waiting to help you ease into the start of your safari adventure. Once refreshed, you will set off on your morning game drive, guided by expert rangers who know this remarkable ecosystem intimately. They will lead you deep into the heart of Chobe National Park, a region celebrated for its immense herds of elephants as well as buffalo, antelope, giraffe, hippo, vibrant birdlife, lions, cheetah, and hyena. Every drive offers a new opportunity to witness the raw beauty and extraordinary biodiversity of this iconic wilderness.
After your early-morning safari, you will return to the lodge for a leisurely breakfast. The late morning is yours to enjoy at your own pace—perhaps relaxing by the swimming pool, unwinding in the gardens, or simply taking in the peaceful surroundings. Around midday, you will make your way to the main lodge for lunch.
As the afternoon unfolds, you will prepare for another memorable activity. A sundowner cruise or game drive. Keep an eye out for elephants wading in the shallows and buffalo grazing along the banks as the sky transforms with the warm colors of the African sunset.
At the end of the day, return to the lodge for dinner beneath the vast African sky. The evening atmosphere is enhanced by the sounds of nature—birds settling in for the night and the gentle grunts of hippos nearby—creating a serene and unforgettable close to your day in the bush

DAY 5: (B, L, D)
Your day begins with an early morning wake-up call at 5:30am, where hot and cold beverages along with a selection of fresh fruit will be waiting for you. Once you are ready, you will set off on your morning game drive, giving you one last opportunity to enjoy the wildlife and landscapes of Chobe National Park.
After your morning activity, you will return to the lodge to gather your belongings and complete check-out from Chobe Game Lodge. A lodge representative will then transfer you to Kasane Airport for your shared light-aircraft flight to Sediba Sa Rona. Because these small aircraft often make multiple stops between camps—sometimes up to three—it is important to note the luggage requirements. Bags must be soft-sided and non-rigid, measuring no more than 25 cm x 30 cm x 62 cm, with a total weight limit of 20 kg including hand luggage.
Your flight will land at the Khwai Airstrip, located just five minutes from the lodge. Upon arrival at Sediba Sa Rona, you will complete check-in formalities and be given a brief tour of the property before enjoying a delicious lunch.
Sediba Sa Rona features fifteen luxury tents, including one family tent. Each tent is positioned along the banks of the Khwai River to ensure privacy and beautiful views. The tents are connected to the main lodge area by natural ground pathways, and the central facilities are accessed via a wooden walkway.
Your stay includes morning and afternoon game drives, with the option to request a night drive in place of the afternoon activity within the Khwai concession. Guided mokoro excursions may also be available depending on seasonal water levels. Guests interested in birding can arrange a specialist guide for an additional fee, and optional helicopter flights are also available at an additional fee.
After lunch, you will have some free time to explore your surroundings or relax before heading out on your afternoon game drive. At the end of the day, return to the lodge for pre-dinner drinks and enjoy a delicious safari-style dinner in the tranquil and beautiful setting of the Khwai River.

DAY 6 & 7: (B, L, D)
Your day begins with an early morning wake-up call at 5am, and a selection of hot and cold beverages along with a light continental breakfast will be waiting for you in the dining area. Once you are ready, you will set off on your morning game drive, guided by expert rangers who know this remarkable wilderness intimately. Morning activities typically last between three and four hours, giving you ample time to explore the landscape and observe the animals at their most active.
After your early-morning safari, you will return to the lodge for a hearty brunch. The late morning and early afternoon are yours to enjoy at leisure—perhaps relaxing by the swimming pool, unwinding on your private deck, or simply soaking in the peaceful atmosphere of the bush. As the afternoon unfolds, you will prepare for your next adventure.
At 3:00 p.m., afternoon tea will be served on the open-air patio, offering a lovely moment to enjoy refreshments before departing on your afternoon game activity. This second outing of the day provides another opportunity to witness the wildlife and changing light of the African bush as the sun begins to lower.
When you return to the lodge, you will have time to freshen up before dinner. Many guests enjoy gathering around the fire for pre-dinner drinks, sharing stories of the day’s sightings and reliving the excitement of the safari. Dinner will then be served, allowing you to end your day with a delicious meal surrounded by the sounds and serenity of the African night.

Your day begins with an early morning wake-up call at 5am, before your morning game drive, guided by expert rangers who know this remarkable wilderness intimately, or you may enjoy a more relaxed start to your morning today, giving you time to gather your belongings at an easy pace and savor a delicious breakfast.
