Set off caravan style from Phillipsburg on a scenic self-drive 4x4 all-terrain vehicle expedition traveling at sightseeing pace.
This island adventure allows you to discover the best of St Maarten. Arrive at the famous Maho Beach with an hour here to bask in the sun on the powdery white-sand beach. Enjoy a non-alcoholic welcome drink and capture the iconic airplane shot as they fly just overhead.
Hop back on your 4x4 and head to the Harold Jack Lookout Point, offering a clear view of the island before you continue your route back to Philipsburg.
Notes:
Vehicles have automatic transmissions. Minimum age is 6 years. Minimum age to drive is 21 years with a valid driver's license. Ride will be bumpy; pregnant women and guests with back or neck conditions and those who have recently had surgery are not allowed to participate. Waiver must be signed and medical conditions disclosed. Wear your swimsuit under your clothing; bring a towel, reef-safe/biodegradable sunscreen, light clothing to act as a full cover-up for further protection from the sun, and a hat. Swim at your own risk. Not advisable for guests using a wheelchair or for those with mobility limitations. Vehicles are shared; not all guests will have the opportunity to drive. Alcohol consumption is not allowed during this tour.
