Here's an unforgettable adventure in Darwin, the vibrant capital of Australia's Top End, inviting you to experience the city's rich history, unique wildlife, and delicious local cuisine, all at a relaxed and comfortable pace.
Your journey begins at Crocodylus Park, where you will come face to face with Australia's most notorious reptile. Watch in awe as these prehistoric giants launch from the water during a thrilling crocodile feeding session. For a truly memorable moment, snap a photo holding a small croc and learn about its fascinating life cycle from expert guides.
Next, visit the Royal Flying Doctor Service Tourist Facility, where history comes to life. Discover the heroic work of the RFDS and step inside a real retired medical jet, once used to bring life-saving care to remote outback communities. You will also dive into the powerful story of the Bombing of Darwin in World War II — a pivotal moment in Australia's wartime history brought to life through some great exhibits.
Head to the scenic Stokes Hill Wharf, famously featured in the movie Australia. Unwind with a cold beer or indulge in some of the Northern Territory's most unique culinary delights. Taste fresh barramundi, kangaroo, camel, crocodile, or buffalo while taking in stunning waterfront views.
