Travel by 4-wheel-drive vehicle through local villages populated by fishermen and farmers. Learn about the coconut -- the staple that lies at the heart of the island's original industry. See Grandpa and Grandma Rock.
Dine on a very local lunch; then, visit a rubber plantation to see how skilled farmers tap the tree for sap that is transformed into sheets of rubber.
Visit the Magic Garden-- a private sculpture park atop Pom Mountain and enjoy some free time, if possible, in the main town to shop before returning to the ship.
