Beat the crowds to the Red Onion Saloon with a private morning tour before it opens to the public! The Madam herself will greet you with a garter and welcome you as her special guest as the first patrons of the day to view the notorious "house of negotiable affection." Enjoy a tasty treat and choose from a Red Light Bloody Mary, Klondike Coffee, or mimosa to sip on while the Madam regales you with the secret stories hiding in the old bones of the building. Next, ascend the stairs for an intimate walk through of the preserved brothel museum. Go back in time with stories of the ladies who worked the night shift and view the priceless artifacts they left behind. Then, you'll visit The Lookout, a photographer's delight offering a panoramic view of the Skagway Valley, glacier-clad mountains, Lynn Canal and your cruise ship. Finally, witness the final resting place of some of the more colorful characters of the Klondike Gold Rush at the Gold Rush Cemetery.
Guests must be at least 21 years old and have photo ID to consume alcohol. Portion of tour contains stories related to historic brothel which parents should consider when bringing children. The Brothel Museum is on the second floor of a historic building and does not have elevator access. Guests should expect roughly 25 steps up and down.
