Dining is included on the cruise portion of all Alaska cruisetours, with the exception of our onboard Specialty Restaurants and select 24-hour room service menu items.

In general, meals are not included on the land portion of Alaska cruisetours.

Exceptions to this are as follows:

Cruisetours D1, D3, D4 (2026), D5, D0, DS (2027), DA (2027), DH, Y1, Y2C, Y3, Y4, Y5 & Y7L: A family-style lunch is included in Fairbanks as part of the Riverboat Discovery experience.

Cruisetours Y3, Y4 (2026) & Y5: Lunch is included on board the motorcoach transfer between Dawson City and Whitehorse.

Cruisetour D2: Lunch is included on board the motorcoach transfer between Denali Lodge and Anchorage.

Cruisetour D6: Lunch is included on board the motorcoach transfer between Denali Lodge and the ship.

Cruisetour DH: Lunch is included on board the motorcoach transfer between Anchorage and Homer.

Tundra Wilderness Tour: A snack box is included on itineraries that include the Tundra Wilderness Tour.

Guests who have not purchased a cruisetour dining plan may buy meals à la carte in the same restaurants at which guests can use their cruisetour dining plan vouchers.

Upon your arrival at each destination, you will receive a Welcome Packet which includes meal vouchers that can be redeemed at your location’s on-site dining venues.

Breakfasts and dinners will be served at your hotel. If the hotel is not able to offer the included meals on location, they will provide instructions on where and how they may be accessed. Lunch aboard the McKinley Explorer® railway and a box lunch on the Tundra Wilderness Tour (on itineraries that include a 2- or 3-night stay at Denali Lodge) are also included in your cruisetour dining plan.

Yes. The deadline for adding a cruisetour dining plan to your booking is currently 19 days prior to departure.

This really depends on what you order. We price these packages knowing that many guests will shop near the top end of the menu options, so for those guests the cruisetour dining plan should generally provide a good value when compared to purchasing these meals individually; if you prefer lighter fare for breakfast and dinner, then perhaps not as much. Regardless, your cruisetour dining plan is a convenient and valuable way to enhance your land experience in Alaska.

Vouchers for the 2027 Cruisetour Dining Package do not include all menu items. Items that are not included are available at extra cost.
