A Holland America Line Hotel Package includes the following:

One or more nights’ hotel accommodation

Transfers between the airport, hotel, and ship

Luggage porterage between the airport, hotel, and ship

Before a cruise, there will be on-site hospitality hosts at the hotel

Faq Question: What is an overland package?
Faq Answer: Select itineraries include an overland package before or after the cruise. This is an add-on travel package that includes hotels, transportation, guides, and some food for once-in-a-lifetime travel destinations including Machu Picchu and Iguazu Falls.

Faq Question: Where are Transfers available?
Faq Answer: You may book transfers between select major airports and your ship as well as from your ship to select major airports. Transfers operate on the day of embarkation and disembarkation only and are available to Flight Ease® guests and to guests who have independent flight plans. In addition, we offer transfers between select city center locations and Holland America ships in Amsterdam, Barcelona, London, Rotterdam, Rome and Sydney, as well as between airport and hotel in Anchorage and Fairbanks.

Faq Question: How can I book a transfer to or from my hotel?
Faq Answer: Transfers from the airport to your hotel and hotel to ship are provided to all guests who have purchased a Holland America Line hotel package (see the Hotels & Travel Packages page for more details). For those who booked a Holland America Line hotel package, hotel to ship transfer details will be available in your Hotel Welcome Letter provided upon check-in at your hotel. Holland America does not provide transfers for guests with independently booked hotels.

Faq Question: By when do I need to inform Holland America of my flight details?
Faq Answer: For guests who have made independent flight arrangements and purchased a Hotel Package, you must advise Holland America Line of your flight details at least 14 days prior to arrival by completing online check-in.

Faq Question: What should I do if I require an Accessible Transfer or accomodations?
Faq Answer: A: If you have purchased a Transfer through Holland America Line or have booked an Alaska cruisetour and require a lift vehicle, please complete our Special Requirements Information Form well in advance of your sailing to allow adequate time for transportation arrangements to be made for you. For cities of embarkation and/or disembarkation outside the United States, wheelchair-lift vehicles may not be available. For more information on what to expect when using a mobility device during your cruise or cruisetour please visit the Accessibility section of our website or call 800-547-8493 or 206–281–3535 (ext. 4514) (TTY: 800–254–8669).

Faq Question: Are Transfers refundable? What is the cancellation policy?
Faq Answer: Unused transfers are not refundable. For guests who have made independent flight arrangements and purchased a Holland America Line transfer, you must advise Holland America Line of your flight details at least 14 days prior to arrival by completing online check-in. If Holland America Line does not receive the flight information, you will not receive the transfer and will be ineligible for reimbursement of this service.
