Hiking is at a comfortable, unhurried pace for moderately fit participants, allowing ample time to pause for photographs, breathe in the crisp Arctic air, and appreciate the silence and serenity of the surroundings.
Notes: Terrain includes even and uneven surfaces, inclines, gravel, grass, roots, rocks, stones and steps. Wear sturdy non-skid walking shoes or hiking boots. Dress warmly in layers with a windproof and waterproof outer layer; bring a warm hat even on a fine day. Not advisable for guests using a wheelchair or for those with mobility limitations or a heart condition.
