This accessible Shore Excursion gives you an opportunity to explore several points of Madeira Island, the viewpoint of Pico do dos Barcelos, with a 360 ° view over Funchal, highlighting the viewpoint of Eira do Serrado, and the famous viewpoint of Cabo Girão.
Meet an accessible van at the pier in Funchal. From here, you will head out on a panoramic drive to the Pico dos Barcelos natural viewpoint, offering stunning views of Funchal and the surrounding valley.
Take a scenic drive to explore the very heart of Madeira. At an elevation of 1,095 meters, the Miradouro da Eira do Serrado offers an unobstructed panorama over the parish of the Valley of Nuns, surrounded by the grandeur of the green mountains of Madeira.
Next, you will head to Câmara de Lobos, a former fishing village and home of Madeira's traditional Poncha beverage, for a tasting if time permits.
The Cabo Girão Skywalk viewpoint — a glass platform suspended almost 2,000 feet over the drop below — is one of the most visited (and certainly most photographed) attractions in the archipelago. It offers a unique perspective over the cities of Câmara de Lobos and Funchal, framed by a natural amphitheater facing south.
