The tour covers the major highlights of Tallinn's Old Town and the history of the Holocaust on Estonian soil.
Drive through the countryside to the Klooga Concentration Camp memorial. At this sobering site, view the area that became a mass grave for murdered prisoners, and a memorial to the victims.
Returning to Tallinn, pause for a light lunch at a local café.
Walk through Tallinn's stupendous Old Town — certainly one of the finest in Europe, and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Follow narrow cobblestone streets and view the Gothic Town Hall. Many of the age-old houses here date back to when the Hanseatic merchants brought immense prosperity to Tallinn.
Visit the Beit Bella Synagogue to learn about the modern-day life of the Jewish community in Estonia. First consecrated in 1885, this historic synagogue was destroyed during World War II. Reconstruction began in 2005, and the synagogue reopened in 2007. The present synagogue is one of the most unusual sacral buildings in Tallinn — its acclaimed modern design combines surprisingly with traditional synagogue architectural features.
